"My Angel" Tuesday Expression with Loretta

There are several things I tell my son not to be curious about. Candles burning, lighters, knives or anything that can cause significant harm or damage to himself and others. Of course, there are a plethora of other curiosities I delightfully encourage him to explore. The stars, the worms, bikes and my new favorite, praying.
I have been waiting for the day when he said he wanted to pray with me. I pray with his sister quite often but he's always given me a stern NO. Ok, no pressure. Then one day last week, he agreed to listen and then waited his turn to pray too. We prayed for fun dreams, to keep our family protected and safe, for Duke to be a good boy, sissy to be confident on her tests and we prayed for our loved ones who left this Earth but continue to watch over us. Like our first dog, Avery and Grandma to send us butterflies.
“Do you have anything to add, Angel?” I ask. “Thank you and goodnight.” He replied
In Jesus name, Amen!
